Located in Atascadero, California the Atascadero Pet Center provides needed care to the animals in our community. In 2004 the Atascadero Pet Center contracted with Deventec to install this 29,896Watt Photovoltaic system. The system was split into two portions. The first array was installed on allowable roof space, while the second array of panels were installed on a solar mounting structure, built by Deventec. Deventec designed the system to offset nearly 60 percent of the annual electricity usage at the hospital. The cost of the system was reduced by nearly 50 percent by rebates and tax credits.

This system was designed with (176) Sanyo 190w Solar Panels and (6) SMA 6000-watt inverters and will generate nearly 60,000 kWh per year.
